No Surprises Act

The No Surprises Act passed into law in 2022 states that when a service is provided from a non-participating provider, the patient cannot be balance billed for more than the in-network cost sharing requirement. Pathology Consultants, PC is in-network with most insurance carriers and follows all rules and regulations set forth by the carrier. If Pathology Consultants, PC submits a claim on your behalf and is non-participating with your carrier, the rules and regulations set forth by the No Surprises Act apply.

If you are not insured or choose to self-pay, a good faith estimate will be provided to you upon request.
